ABSTRACT
Wiskott Aldrich syndrome (WAS) is a rare disease and hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT) considered the treatment modality of choice for WAS. We conducted cross-sectional analysis on KIDS' pediatric inpatient database compared hospitalization rates, complications healthcare utilizations in non-transplant arms. Of 383 admissions with diagnosis WAS between 2006-2012, 114 underwent 269 did not. The arm included older children, female patients more African Americans.
