ABSTRACT
Abstract We aimed to develop gait standards for parameters in school-aged Japanese children and assess age-related differences patterns parameters. Children aged 6–12 years (n = 424) were recruited from two elementary schools. An instrumented three-dimensional analysis system was used record each child's kinematics, kinetics, spatiotemporal Participants subdivided into three age groups (Group A, 6–8 years; Group B, 9–10 C, 11–12 years). LMS Chartmaker, version 2.54, create a developmental chart the pattern. The non-normalized step stride lengths significantly longer, cadence lower older children; however, opposite outcome occurred when analyzing normalized data. Ankle moment differed by age, maximum ankle higher than that younger children. Furthermore, hip knee flexion angles during of those other countries. centile pattern is useful tool clinicians changes detect abnormalities
