ABSTRACT
Achieving methane-to-methanol is challenging under mild conditions. In this study, methanol synthesized by one-step direction conversion of CH4 with H2O at room temperature atmospheric pressure in non-thermal plasma (NTP). This route characterized the use methane and liquid water as reactants, which enables transfer product to phase time inhibit its further decomposition conversion. Therefore, obtained free carbon dioxide. The reaction products include gas liquid-phase hydrocarbons, CO, CH3OH, C2H5OH. combination semiconductor materials increases production rate methanol. addition, addition Ar or He considerably selectivity highest can reach 56.7 mmol gcat-1 h-1 93%, respectively. Compared absence a catalyst added gas, more than 5-fold increase achieved.
