ABSTRACT
Abstract In the past decade, metagenomics studies have become widespread due to arrival of second-generation sequencing platforms characterized by low costs, high throughput and short read lengths. Today, although benchtop sequencers are considered be accurate deliver data for targeted studies, limiting factor has analysis these data. a previous paper, we performed an Ion Torrent PGM 16S rDNA gene faecal DNAs from 48 Blastocystis -colonized patients -negative subjects, in order decipher impact this protist on gut microbiota composition diversity. We report here metagenomic 96 human samples, complete datasets raw analysed also provide key steps bioinformatic analyses, library preparation filtering OTUs tables generation. This represents valuable resource scientific community, enabling re-processing through various pipelines comparative evaluation methods.
