ABSTRACT
The unexpected nuclear accidents have provided a challenge for scientists and engineers to develop sensitive detectors, especially alpha radiation. Due the high linear energy transfer value, sensors designed detect such radiation require placement in close proximity source. Here we report morphological changes optical responses of artificially DNA thin films response exposure as observed by an atomic force microscope, Raman reflectance spectroscopes. In addition, discuss feasibility film sensing material. effect on was evaluated function distance from 241Am source time. Significant reflected intensity exposed suggest that made biomolecules can be one promising candidates development online sensors.
