ABSTRACT
CRISPR/Cas9, a bacterial adaptive immune system derived genome-editing technique, has become to be one of the most compelling topics in biotechnology. Bombyx mori is an economically important insect and model organism for studying lepidopteran arthropod biology. Here we reported highly efficient multiplex genome editing B. cell line heritable site-directed mutagenesis Bmku70, which required NHEJ pathway also related antigen diversity, telomere length maintenance subtelomeric gene silencing, using CRISPR/Cas9 system. We established simple practicable method obtained several Bmku70 knockout lines showed that frequency HR was increased embryos mori. The mutant this study could candidate genetic resource knock-in fundamental research DNA repair provided strategy procedure perform target genes with no significant phenotype effect.
