ABSTRACT
Abstract Changes in land use might affect the combined C, N and P stoichiometry soil. The Grain-to-Green Program (GTGP), which converts low-yield croplands or abandoned lands into forest, shrub, and/or grassland, was largest reforestation project China. This study collected reported contents of soil GTGP zones to achieve factors driving changes C:N, C:P N:P values. results showed that annual average precipitation exerted significant effects on value became 20 years after change use. temperature main factor affecting C:N during first 10 years, while strongly affected this afterwards. In addition, “Redfield-like” interactions between may exist. A linear regression revealed positive correlations values restoration age, a Therefore large-scale under ‘GTGP’ program significantly ratios
