ABSTRACT
Abstract In vertebrates, microorganisms are recognized by pathogen recognition receptors (PRRs). Exposure of immune cells to the ligands these activates intracellular signaling cascades that rapidly induce expression a variety genes. Within genes, cytokines family plays crucial function because its role in adaptive immunity induction and tissue-specific functional regulation, such as tissue repair homeostasis during steady state conditions. myeloid compartment, dendritic (DCs) release inflammatory response microbes. this study, we show BMDCs IL-22 directly upon PRRs activation without need IL-23 reported for other IL22-producing cells. Moreover, demonstrate cytokine is released cell-specific manner macrophages not able produce through same system. addition, characterize cascade required BMDCs. Myd88, MEK1/2, NFkb AhR, but p38, NFAT RORgt, were found be involved regulation DCs. Our study suggests possess unique molecular plasticity which, once activated, directs different functions manner.
