ABSTRACT
Abstract The PEDOT:PSS is often used as the window layer in normal structured PEDOT:PSS/c-Si hybrid solar cell (HSC), leading to significantly reduced response, especially red and near-infrared region. By depositing on rear side of c-Si wafer, we developed an inverted HSC with much higher response spectrum. Passivating other hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) before electrode deposition, minority carrier lifetime has been increased power conversion efficiency (PCE) improved high 16.1% open-circuit voltage (V oc ) 634 mV, fill factor (FF) 70.5%, short-circuit current density (J sc 36.2 mA cm −2 , improvement 33% over control device. improvements are ascribed configuration a-Si:H passivation, which can increase photon generation reduce recombination, respectively. Both them will benefit photovoltaic performance should be considered effective design strategies improve organic/c-Si HSCs.
