ABSTRACT
Abstract Interleukin-1 (IL-1) and the IL-1 receptor (IL-1R) family play an important role in pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases. This study aimed to investigate association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) IL-1R genes with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) Behcet’s disease (BD) Han Chinese. The case-control was divided into two stages included 419 VKH cases, 1063 BD cases 1872 healthy controls. MassARRAY platform (Sequenom), iPLEX Gold Assay TaqMan SNP assays were used score genotypes 24 SNPs. expression IL-37 IL-18Rap measured by ELISA real-time PCR genotyped individuals. A significantly lower frequency AG genotype, a higher GG genotype G allele IL-37/rs3811047 observed as compared AA IL-18RAP/rs2058660 decreased Functional studies performed controls showed that rs3811047 carriers had gene peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) than carriers. cytokine No detected tested SNPs VKH.
