ABSTRACT
Abstract To compared the ability of chewing gum or simo decoction (SMD) and acupuncture to reduce incidence postoperative ileus (POI) after colorectal cancer resection, patients with undergoing open laparoscopic resection were randomized receive SMD (n = 196), alone 197) no intervention starting on day 1 continuing for 5 consecutive days.
