ABSTRACT
A series of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) including perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) have been recently measured in a variety environmental samples biological matrices. In order to better understand the human exposure routes these chemicals, levels PFOS, PFOA, perfluorobutane (PFBS), perfluorohexane (PFHS) sulfonamide (PFOSA) house dust were investigated. The data revealed correlation between concentrations PFCs percentage carpeting house; older houses tended less carpeting, hence lower their dust.
