ABSTRACT
Magnetic Fe3O4@C@Cu2O composites with a bean-like core/shell nanostructure have been successfully synthesized by self-assembly approach. The synthetic route is feasible, low-cost and green. size of the as-prepared magnetic about 420 nm shells are composed several nanoparticles in range 5∼10 nm. Interestingly, carbonaceous layer bound hydrophilic groups inherited from starting materials acted as both linker stabilizer between Fe3O4 Cu2O. exhibit ferromagnetic behaviour, good dispersibility aqueous solution. Importantly, show universal powerful visible-light-photocatalytic activity for degradation Rhodamine-B (RhB), methyl orange (MO), alizarin red (AR) relative to commercial Cu2O Degussa P-25 powders. These novel may find applications dye water treatment, organic pollutants environmental cleaning etc.
