ABSTRACT
{[Cu6(TTTMB)8(OH)4(H2O)6]·8(NO3)·34.5H2O}n can reversibly transform to {[Cu6(TTTMB)8I3]·9I·26H2O}n upon a single crystal process. The transformation is accompanied by the formation of weak Cu2+⋯I− interactions and changes in coordination numbers, as well modulation their properties.
