A novel gold nanoparticle supported periodic mesoporous organosilica with alkylimidazolium framework, Au@PMO-IL, was shown to be a highly active and recyclable catalyst for three-component coupling reaction of aldehyde, alkyne amine give the corresponding propargylamine.
