ABSTRACT
Fluride-ion capture from their anion relatives in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride solution by strong ion acceptors such as AsF5 provides a general approach to the synthesis of polymeric binary fluorides and is particularly advantageous highest-oxidation-state transition metal fluorides.
