ABSTRACT
Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 were prepared from stoichiometric metal ligand aqueous solutions at room temperature within 10 min. Triblock copolymer ammonium hydroxide are both essential for the formation of ZIFs. Ammonium in solution deprotonates 2-methylimidazole, PEO groups triblock surfactant electrostatically attract ions, leading to ZIF-67. The yield is more than 98%, which highest so far. This method very promising efficient environmentally friendly synthesis ZIFs practical applications.
