High performance silicon-based anodes in solid-state lithium batteries

ABSTRACT
Silicon–lithium alloys are one of the most attractive anode materials for next-generation lithium-ion batteries; however, they have demonstrated high performance, only when fabricated into nano-sized materials. Here we show that even bulky exhibit potential has never been shown in conventional liquid electrolytes, solid electrolytes.
