ABSTRACT
Four uncommon isostructural nanocage-based 3D Ln-MOFs, 1-Ln (Ln = Eu, Tb, Gd and Dy), were constructed using a new diisophthalate ligand with active pyridyl sites. 1-Eu exhibits highly efficient luminescent sensing for Cu(2+) ions selective CO2 capture.
