ABSTRACT
The aim of this paper was to study the antitumor and immunoregulatory activities a polysaccharide (TTP) from Talinum triangulare. molecular weight TTP-IV 49.9 kDa. monosaccharide composition analysis revealed that it heteropolysaccharide consisting rhamnose, arabinose, mannose galactose with molar ratio 1.22 : 1.00 1.05 1.51. results in vivo showed TTP (200 mg per kg bw) significantly inhibited growth tumor by 49.07% H22-bearing Kunming mice. In vitro, primary murine macrophages promoted dose- time-dependent manner significantly. Besides, RAW 264.7 cells were activated produce NO toxicity supernatant markedly enhanced vitro. levels iNOS, TLR2, TLR4 IL-1β obviously increased TTP. Therefore, is suggested can be utilized as potent immunoenhancing material functional food.
