ABSTRACT
We have developed a simple and efficient strategy to fabricate WS2 nanosheets with low toxicity good water solubility via liquid exfoliation method by using H2SO4 intercalation ultrasonication. The as-prepared were employed not only as an NIR absorbing agent for photothermal therapy (PTT) but also photosensitizer (PS) carrier photodynamic (PDT) due their sheet like structure that offers large surface area load PS molecules. Moreover, singlet-oxygen generation of the PSs-WS2 complex could be finely controlled irradiation manipulate PSs release behavior from nanosheets. synergistic anti-tumor effect mediated PDT-PTT was evaluated carefully results clearly showed efficacy combined treatment cancer cells is significantly higher than those PDT-only PTT-only treatment, indicating enhanced efficiency therapeutic system. In addition, used computed tomography (CT) contrast bio-imaging since W atoms strong X-ray attenuation ability, making them multifunctional theranostic platform simultaneous imaging-guided diagnosis therapy.
