A novel peapod-like Ni₂P/C nanocomposite is designed and synthesized using NiNH₄PO₄H₂O nanorod sacrificial templates. The exhibits high activity stability for the hydrogen evolution reaction an excellent electrochemical performance use in lithium ion batteries.
