ABSTRACT
As a potential visible-light photocatalyst, the photocatalytic performance of bulk g-C3N4 synthesized by heating melamine (denote as g-C3N4-M) is limited due to its low specific surface area and high recombination rate photo-induced electron-hole pair. In this paper, novel g-C3N4-M nanosheet (g-C3N4-MN) obtained from through thermal exploitation method employed an excellent substrate different amounts Ag2CO3 nanoparticles are loaded at room temperature. The phase chemical structure, electronic optical properties Ag2CO3/g-C3N4-MN heterostructures well-characterized. activities as-prepared evaluated degradation methyl orange (MO) rhodamine B (RhB) pollutants under visible light irradiation. More importantly, heterostructure has been proved be system with enhanced charge separation compared those Ag2CO3/g-C3N4-M system.
