ABSTRACT
We report a novel RuO2–NPG//Co(OH)2–NPG asymmetric supercapacitor with high specific capacitance and wide potential window in which bifunctional nanoporous gold is used as both the highly conductive supports of pseudocapacitive oxides 3D current collectors device. The RuO2–NPG Co(OH)2–NPG electrodes can reach capacitances 1300 F g−1 1800 g−1, respectively, provide comparatively relation to metal oxide/carbon electrodes, giving rise an oxide pseudocapacitor large ∼350 working voltage 1.6 V ultrahigh energy density ∼120 W h kg−1.
