ABSTRACT
This work presents a new facile strategy to fabricate self-assembled spherical and mesoporous submicron-sized capsules, 'dandelions', of ZnO nanorods nanoparticles. Self-assembled 'dandelion' capsules have been synthesized from Zn(Ac)2 Igepal CO-520, the mechanistic approach for growth has elucidated. Physical characteristics novel responsible biomedical applications studied through XRD, Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis-NIR XPS EPR. The mechanical stability characterized using high energy ultrasound with time in 10% PBS buffer. biocompatibility investigated cell-based study normal lymphocyte K562 cancer cells MTT assay. loading release efficiency fluorescent molecules (Rhodamine 6G), anti-cancer drugs (doxorubicin hydrochloride, DOX), deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) investigated. All results indicate potential relevant applications, such as sustained drug delivery formation {(ZnO)nδ+-(DOX)m} complex gene {(ZnO)nδ+-(DNA)m complex, medical biotechnology. fabrication idiosyncratic is very simple, feasible, cost effective; moreover, it demonstrates improved performance applications.
