A novel method for reconstitution of Integrin αIIbβ3into GUVs with unrestricted lipid composition is described and the lateral diffusion and phase partitioning of the integrin on activation and ligand binding in biomimetic GUVs compositions is studied in GUVs with biomimetic formulations.
