ABSTRACT
Lithium (Li) metal is one of the most promising candidates as an anode for next-generation energy storage systems because its high specific capacity and lowest negative electrochemical potential. But growth Li dendrites limits application battery. In this work, a type modified battery with carbon nanotube (CNT) buffer layer inserted between separator electrode was reported. The results show that batteries have much better rate capability cycling performance than conventional batteries. mechanism study by impedance spectroscopy reveals has smaller charge transfer resistance larger ion diffusion coefficient during deposition process on Symmetric tests interfacial behavior more stable naked electrode. morphological characterization CNT lamina restrained dendrites. great potential to solve safety problem
