ABSTRACT
Integrating multimodal bioimaging and different therapies into one nanoplatform is a promising strategy for biomedical applications, but remains great challenge. Herein, we have synthesized biocompatible folic acid (FA) functionalized gold nanorod@polypyrrole@Fe3O4 (GNR@PPy@Fe3O4-FA) nanocomposite through facile method. The conjugated FA has endowed the with ability to recognize targeted cancer cells. Importantly, been successfully utilized magnetic resonance (MR), computed tomography (CT) photoacoustic (PA) imaging. Moreover, GNR@PPy@Fe3O4-DOX shows pH-responsive chemotherapy enables integration of photothermal therapy achieve superior antitumor efficacy. nanocomposites drug release 23.64%, efficiency GNR@PPy@Fe3O4 reaches 51.46%. Cell viability decreases 15.83% 16.47% because combination chemo-photothermal effects. GNR@PPy@Fe3O4-DOX-FA could target cells via under field. in vivo imaging effects showed that are good contrast theranostic agent. Thus, this multifunctional be platform diagnosis therapy.
