ABSTRACT
In this study, a series of poly(terminal vinyl dimethicone-co-methyl methacrylate-co-n-butyl acrylate)/pigment composite particles (P(DMS-Acr)/PB CPs) were successfully prepared via miniemulsion polymerization and their latex film microstructures on examined carefully using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), field emission scanning (FESEM), atomic force (AFM) so on. Significant phase separation was observed after formation, the copper phthalocyanine blue (PB) tend to distribute in polysiloxane island phase. After baking at 120 °C, protrusions generated. With increasing amount terminated polydimethylsiloxane (ViPDMS) or time, number became more appearance tends be sharp. When P(DMS-Acr)/PB CPs applied fabric printing, continuous formed surface room temperature therefore gaps between yarns blocked. However, reappeared which could attributed rapid flow polymer component. Finally, fiber coated with layer containing large mastoid structures, printed still retain majority fibers. Therefore, exhibited excellent performances such as good air permeability, softness, rubbing fastness.
