The lysosome-targeted probe CuNI exhibits highly effective fluorescence detection ability for Cu²⁺ in aqueous solution and cells. fluorescent enhancement is due to the Cu²⁺-catalyzed hydrolysis of AIE effect hydrolysate MFNI.
