A new lead-free 1D hybrid copper perovskite and its structural, thermal, vibrational, optical and magnetic characterization

A 1D perovskite, (C5H14N2) CuCl4, is stabilized as alternative lead-free material for more environmentally friendly solar cells. The absence of magnetic properties results from the cancelation of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic contributions.
