Bimetal Cu/Fe nanoparticles encased in N-doped carbon nanofibers achieved the high-efficiency reduction of nitrate, as well a nitrate conversion rate 76%, removal capacity 5686 mg N g⁻¹ and nitrogen selectivity 94% for 24 h.
