ABSTRACT
This work reports the one-pot solvothermal synthesis of a Keggin heteropolyacid (phosphomolybdic acid, tungstophosphoric or silicotungstic acid) immobilized on Ni-MOF composite catalysts for esterification fatty acids, and composites were further analyzed by XRD, FTIR, NH3-TPD, SEM, TEM, N2 adsorption/desorption, XPS. Among contrastive syntheses (i.e., HPW/Ni-MOF, HSiW/Ni-MOF, HPMo/Ni-MOF), HPMo/Ni-MOF exhibits most active catalyst toward acids esterification, characterization results also revealed that has strong acidity, large specific surface area, appropriate average pore size. More significantly, this good catalytic performance (86.1% conversion) during under optimized reaction conditions, can remain stable after tenth cycle with conversion 73.5%. Intriguingly, kinetics was studied, activation energy found to be 64.6 kJ mol-1. The indicated using is chemically controlled reaction.
