Stepwise reduction of a corannulene-based helical molecular nanographene with Na metal

The two-electron stepwise reduction of a corannulene-based nanographene (C76H64) with Na metal leads to an aromaticity change (from aromatic to non-aromatic or antiaromatic) observed on the most affected rings, which is fully reversible.
