ABSTRACT
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic disease mainly caused by insufficient insulin secretion and resistance. In addition, T2DM often accompanied dysregulation of lipid metabolism inflammatory response. The effect oral administration Sanghuangporus vaninii mixture (SVM) on mice was evaluated. results showed that SVM intervention could change body weight glucose/lipid metabolism-related indicators. it can also improve the level factors to play protective role in pancreas jejunum. 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis indicated significantly altered intestinal microbiota mice, elevating relative abundances Bacteroidetes, Verrucomicrobia, Akkermansia, Alloprevotella, Blautia, decreasing Firmicutes, Lactobacillus, Flavonifractor, Odoribacter feces diabetic compared with model group. Moreover, functional modules fatty acid degradation, glycerolipid metabolism, purine histidine folate biosynthesis, GABAergic synapse, etc. were regulated mice. Additionally, integrative correlation revealed representative microbes response markedly related indicators (e.g. blood glucose, resistance, indexes, factors). Hence, these findings suggest modulate structure, abundance, function potentially ameliorate its complications hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, inflammation)
