ABSTRACT
The adsorbed layer on a solid surface plays crucial role in the dynamics of nanoconfinement polymer materials. However, influence is complex, and clarifying this confined polymers remains major challenge. In paper, SiO2-Si substrates with various thicknesses layers PS molecular weights were used to reveal effect corresponding segmental supported thin films. Strongly suppressed films observed for thicker or prepared using higher weight. Neutron reflectivity revealed that overlap region thickness between top overlayer increased increasing weight layer, both which correlate well distance over polystyrene depressed by layer. results show influencing related zone formed adsorption upper film. can be ascribed fact large loops long tails result stronger interpenetrations entanglements chains overlayer, causing substrate suppression segment
