ABSTRACT
The active depletion torque experienced by two anisotropic objects in an bath is a conceptional generalization of the equilibrium entropic torque. Using Brownian dynamics simulations, we compute suffered passive rods immersed ensemble particles. Our results demonstrate that qualitatively different from its counterpart. Interestingly, find can be greatly affected external constraint applied on rotational degree freedom rods, and even direction may changed with orientational constraint, which contrast to main reason for remarkable features particles significantly accumulate vicinity due persistent self-propulsion, sensitively dependent strength rod configurations. findings could relevant understanding self-assembly macromolecules living environments.
