ABSTRACT
Koumiss is a traditional fermented drink widely consumed by nomads owing to its rich nutritional value and therapeutic effects. Lactobacillus paracasei bacterial strain isolated from koumiss has positive effect on diarrhea; however, the relationship between gut microbial dysbiosis L. metabolism remains unclear. Therefore, this study aimed explore anti-diarrheal activity of in murine E. coli-induced diarrhea model provide novel insights into probiotic properties analyzing intestinal metabolites effects barrier. Oral administration probiotic, paracasei, enhanced tight junction protein expression, alleviated clinical manifestations consistent with diarrhea, positively affected overall microecological homeostasis. Moreover, it increased goblet cell count secretory immunoglobulin A content regulated via microbes, consequently preventing coli-mediated disruption epithelial
