Koumiss is a traditional fermented drink widely consumed by nomads owing to its rich nutritional value and therapeutic effects. Lactobacillus paracasei bacterial strain isolated from koumiss has positive effect on diarrhea; however, the relationship between gut microbial dysbiosis L. metabolism remains unclear.
