Peptide-appended perylene bisimide containing silver nanoparticle-based trihybrid system with GO: improvement of photocatalytic and photo-switching behaviour

We report the synthesis of a trihybrid system consisting of perylene bisimide appended peptide nanofibers, silver nanoparticles and graphene oxide nano-sheets. The trihybrid system is utilized as a photocatalyst for the reduction of carcinogenic Cr(vi) to non-toxic Cr(iii).
