ABSTRACT
Enzymic activities and gene expression of oleoylCoA elongase were studied during seed development using two different rapeseed cultivars, high-erucic-acid (HEAR) low-erucic-acid (LEAR). The overall maximal in HEAR between the fourth eighth weeks after pollination (WAP) absent LEAR. 3-ketoacyl-CoA synthase (condensing enzyme, CE) mRNA levels developmental profiles cultivars since detected LEAR at WAP 4 6, respectively. Anti-CE antibodies revealed proteins 60 67 kDa both an additional reacting protein 57 HEAR.
