ABSTRACT
Abstract Genetic maps of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), fragment length polymorphisms (AFLP) and inter simple sequence repeats (ISSR) markers in pineapple (2n = 2x 50) are reported for the first time. On basis a segregating population 46 F1 individuals from cross Ananas comosus x A. bracteatus , genetic these two species were constructed using two‐way pseudo‐testcross approach. The map consists 335 (60 RAPDs, 264 AFLPs 11 ISSRs) assembled into 50 linkage groups, 26 them with at least four markers. 157 (33 115 AFLPs, eight ISSRs ‘piping’ trait locus) organized 30 18 These cover, respectively, 57.2% genome estimated as 3693 cM long, 31.6% calculated 4146 cM. A rough estimate 120 127 kbp/ on average was found relationship between physical distance respectively.
