ABSTRACT
Bistatic multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) radar can achieve target localization by estimating the transmit and receive angles. In this paper, an ESPRIT based threedimensional (3-D) algorithm is proposed for bistatic MIMO system with a uniform circular array on linear receive. Transmit azimuth, elevation angles cone angle are estimated using data. The 3-D coordinates of then calculated geometry between targets radar. accuracy independent signal bandwidth as range not required. Also time synchronization avoided in process localization. Simulations demonstrate effectiveness method. (4 pages)
