ABSTRACT
Microwave plasma technology is a non-polluting and resource recovery treatment with broad application prospects in the field of solid waste treatment. At atmospheric pressure, gasification pyrolysis system equipped 10 air microwave torch modules was set up to dispose cardboard which one main municipal waste. In experiment, electric power working gas flow rate each module 1.5 kW 12 L/min. The emission spectra combustion flame range from 200- 900-nm were studied. temperature variations inside chambers monitored composition changes during whole process detected. Moreover, residues after analysed for their organic elements. results have shown that converted 91 wt.% into non-polluted gas, residue composed bio-carbon accounted about 1 inorganic powder. Additionally, it indicated by spectral also contained trace metals such as iron vanadium. maximum capacity daily are approximately 20 kg/h 240 kg/day. cost treat 0.74 RMB/kg.
