Calculation and analysis of vibration characteristics of IMU isolation system with MRE isolators

ABSTRACT
To improve the dynamical test accuracy of an inertial measurement unit (IMU), magnetorheological elastomer (MRE) isolators were applied to suppress its vibration. In this paper, dynamics model a laser gyro strapdown IMU was developed based on Riccati transfer matrix method for multibody systems. Combining with different control algorithms, acceleration shell taken as object and vibration characteristics system calculated analysed. By comparing root mean square values components, it predicts that effect reduction by adding is better than passive control. Moreover, methods are suitable excitations.
