Lightweight semi-open magnetic shielding room based on finite element method

ABSTRACT
Lightweight magnetic shielding room (MSR) requires less material, is lighter, more mobile and cost effective. It will provide a viable solution for portable biomagnetic measurement equipments. In this paper, semi-open lightweight MSR proposed based on the finite element method. uses 30% permalloy compared to conventional chambers. We analysed internal residual magnetism distribution of MSRs under different hole methods through simulation, which we optimized structure machined designed MSR. The design has factor 26 at 0.1 Hz field, close closed MSR, provides better ventilation lighting performance.
