ABSTRACT
This study presents a new method for tracing voltage power curves in unbalanced radial distribution systems. The proposed starts with the base case loading conditions and leading to maximum point (MLP) whereas no ill-conditioning problems were detected. calculation is performed by first-order polynomial secant predictor solution corrected using backward/forward power-flow method. Adaptive stepwise control implemented improve overall process reduce number of calculated points along traced curve. results developed are both 33-bus feeder IEEE 13-node IEEE123-node feeders. show that accurately traces up MLP. Comprehensive analysis on scenarios shows load unbalance greatly affects stability limit system.
