ABSTRACT
Large shares of renewable energy production in the electricity grid make expansion and new technologies necessary. The unavailability models to address upcoming research questions led development open source models. Our work contributes establish open_eGo model for simulations by validating its assumptions results a rural region with high share wind energy. In particular, on electrical parameters graph structure are compared owner's along validation AC load flow at boundaries. It was found that deviates degree nodes connection characteristic. These deviations less exterior lower maximum as well higher number parallel lines model. differ slightly active power significantly reactive power, but more reliable than an aggregation loads generation extra voltage (EHV) nodes. Concluding, has limited usability simulating, understanding optimising DSO operation can enhance EHV‐only analysis large area contexts.
