ABSTRACT
Location verification has witnessed significant attention in vehicular communication due to the growth number of location based intelligent transport system (ITS) applications. The traditional cryptography techniques have been suggested secure and verify vehicles. increase protocol complexity computational overhead ad hoc nature network environments. In this context, study proposes two layered information cum security (LIVES) technique on transferable belief model (TBM). layer 1, tiles is performed using concepts virtual roads received signal strength. 2, TBM performed. Specifically, presence a vehicle each tiles, as neighbour other neighbouring vehicles are combined collective attest claim vehicle. performance LIVES evaluated with road-based map-based single, mixed multiple adversary considered both comparative evaluations benefits compared inference position anonymous beaconing without LIVES.
