ABSTRACT
Clutter suppression for short‐range ground moving target indication in forward looking airborne radar is a challenging problem because of the range‐dependent clutter. If pulse repetition frequency chosen so high that clutter range ambiguous, then additional blind velocities at induced by far‐range will occur. To eliminate these velocities, an efficient beamspace‐based adaptive prefiltering method elevation proposed this study to suppress ambiguous The beamformer can provide nearly optimal adapted pattern improved training data selection strategy. After eliminating impact clutter, Doppler‐compensation‐based space–time processing could be carried out residual In addition, computationally efficient, and hence it suitable engineering application.
