ABSTRACT
The problem of direction arrival (DOA) estimation non‐circular (NC) signal for non‐uniform linear array is investigated. A generalised‐ESPRIT (GESPRIT) algorithm can be treated as an improvement ESPRIT and the inter‐elements spacing geometry uniform or within a half wavelength. authors combine GESPRIT NC property, propose NC‐GESPRIT to obtain DOAs signals, which requires spectrum peak searching. Moreover, computationally efficient search‐free root algorithm, based on polynomial rooting, also proposed depress computational cost. algorithms have much better performance than conventional it detect 2 M − 1 sources with only sensors due property. Furthermore, work well without estimating phase. effectiveness will proved in following simulation results.
